Terms of Service

Nature of the server

Chronicles Online is a hobby project. It is provided as-is with no uptime guarantees and no service level agreement. We may patch, restart, rollback, or shut the server down at any time. The original game and its assets belong to their respective rights holders; we make no claim to that intellectual property.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Do not reuse it on other sites.
• One account per real person. Multiple characters on one account are fine; multiple accounts to bypass cooldowns or rules are not.
• Do not share, sell, trade, or rent your account. Account transfer is not supported.
• You must be 13 or older to register. Players aged 13–17 should have parental consent.

Player conduct

The following will get you muted, jailed, or banned without warning:

• Cheating — third-party clients, bots, macros, multi-clienting beyond what the server explicitly allows, packet manipulation, or any speed/teleport hack.
• Exploiting — duping, item or stat exploits, abusing unintended interactions. Report bugs in Discord; do not farm them.
• Harassment — racism, sexism, homophobia, doxxing, threats, or coordinated bullying in chat or on Discord.
• Real-money trading — selling in-game items, gold, EPs, or accounts for real money outside the official donation system.
• Impersonating staff — using [GM], [PM] or any admin tag in your name, signature, or Discord handle.

Donations

Donations support hosting and development. They are voluntary and processed directly through private message with staff. Once a donation is confirmed and rewards delivered through in-game mail, the transaction is final.

Donations are not a purchase of game items. You are supporting the server; the rewards are a thank-you. We may adjust voucher exchange rates, VIP perks, or limited-time bundles at any time, but anything you have already received remains yours.

Virtual items

Gold, EPs, PP, donation vouchers, equipment, eudemons, and any other in-game property exist only inside Chronicles Online. They have no real-world value and cannot be redeemed, refunded, or transferred outside the server. If your account is banned for breaking these rules, all items on that account are forfeited.

User content

Anything you post — character names, chat messages, guild names, signatures, screenshots — must comply with these Terms. We may edit, hide, or remove user content that breaks the rules. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the server, on the website, and in announcements.

Moderation and bans

Staff decisions are final. Sanctions can include warnings, mutes, jail time, item removal, rollbacks, character resets, or full account bans. Severe violations such as duping, RMT, or hacking can lead to permanent bans without prior warning.

To appeal, message the staff team in Discord #support. Appeals submitted in-game or in public channels will be ignored.

Changes to the game

Balance patches, new content, item adjustments, season resets, drop rate changes, and event rotations are all expected. We will announce significant changes in #announcements on Discord, but we do not promise to preserve any specific drop rate, exchange rate, or item behaviour indefinitely.

Termination

You may stop playing and request account deletion at any time via Discord (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that have been inactive for an extended period, or when the server is shut down.

Disclaimer of liability

Chronicles Online is provided as-is and at your own risk. We are not liable for lost characters, lost items, lost progress, downtime, data corruption, or any consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the server or website is limited to MYR 0 — Chronicles Online is free.

Intellectual property

Eudemons Online and all associated trademarks, art, music, characters, and lore belong to their original rights holders. Chronicles Online claims no ownership over that material. If you are a rights holder and want content removed, contact us via Discord and we will respond promptly.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms when the server changes. Continued use of the server after a revision means you accept the updated Terms. Major changes will be announced on Discord.
